Boiler Operation & Maintenance

​Techseco operates & maintains the 150K lbs. / hr. NIH boiler facility in western Montana.  Operations include staffing with licensed operators with maintenance capabilities to service, boiler controls, valves, VFD’s, motors, & pumps.  Our duties include the maintenance and adjustment of the water treatment system, DA tank, & distribution system. Additional duties include tuning of boilers to meet strict emissions standards and the fine adjustment to the burner management system to obtain maximum boiler efficiency.

Utilities Operations & Maintenance

​Techseco provided the operations & maintenance of a water remediation plant for the Corps of Engineers in New England.  Our duties include routine maintenance on piping, control valves, pumps, motors and filtration media.  We operated the plant by taking samples and adjusting parameters to meet strict NE specifications with a discharge of 1.08 MGD.

Techseco provided the O&M services at the Norfolk Naval Air Station waste treatment plant that operated at 1.3 MGD.  We operated the electrical & mechanical systems including the control system to meet all State of Virginia discharge permits.  We maintained valves, pumps, filters, effluent chambers, analytical instruments and pumping stations.

 

Emissions Monitoring & Testing

Techseco operates & maintains 13 boilers, two of which are High Pressure, operating at 1035 PSI.  Our duties include the troubleshooting of all boiler controls, interlocks and burner management systems, we provide boiler inspections to include making analytical stack gas and combustion analysis to include NOx, O2, CO, stack temperature and combustion efficiency.  The mission of the Lakehurst Naval Air Station is the operation to two test catapults to test valves and components for the launch & recovery of aircraft from aircraft carriers.

Automation Controls & Process Instrumentation

Techseco calibrates and maintains process control instrumentation at the URS demilitarization facility in Pine Bluff Arkansas. We provide look checks, verify the accuracy of analytical instrumentation and provide documentation for State & Federal quality assurance requirements.  Our technicians make use of test equipment for measurements in Volumetric and Mass Flow, temperature, Liquid Level, Pressure & Differential Pressure.  We tune PID loops & test safety switches and interlocks to verify the integrity of the control loop.

Information Technology

Techseco provided, through our GSA Schedule 70 Federal Supply Schedule, System IT services which included supporting 400 users at 14 different sites throughout the Northeast region.  We provided support for Windows operating systems, desktops, laptops, Digital printers, Blackberry wireless devices and printers.  We managed the Navy Marine Corps internet assets at EFA Northeast & Navy Crane Center sites.  We modified existing software format to accommodate required functionality and assisted with troubleshooting of Local Area Networks.
